Commission Members in Action
6th Annual Border Health Conference
06-22-2011 - Arizona U.S. Section Member Cecilia Rosales (AZ), M.D., M.S.; Texas U.S. Section Members Manuel de la Rosa, M.D., and Antonio Falcon, M.D.; and New Mexico U.S.-Section Members Bruce San Filippo, M.D., M.M.M., and Catherine Torres, M.D., represented the U.S. Section of the U.S.-México Border Health Commission (BHC) at the 6th Annual Border Health Conference in Washington, D.C. The purpose of this conference is to raise awareness of health care disparities existing along the border and its impact on border patients and their physicians. The members also attended the Annual BHC/Congressional Members Session, hosted by Senator Jeff Bingaman and Congressman Silvestre Reyes. |
